This studies includes the synonymy, measurements, habitat and new record of the five grasshopper species belonging to the subfamily Calliptaminae. Species, Calliptamus abbrevatus Ikonnikov, C. balucha Uvarov, C.tenuicercis Tarbinskii, C. tartarus tartarus (Costa) and Acorypha glaucopsis (Walker) were collected from various localities of Pakistan during a survey conducted in 1995-96.
