| Abstract : | Dependent elements of left centralizers and a freely acting mapping on semiprime rings are considered. It is shown that the dependent elements of a left centralizer of a semiprime ring R are central and form a semiprime subring of R. Furthermore, decompositions of a semiprime ring using a left centralizer, and a centralizer, of the ring and their dependent elements are obtained, |
