An alternative to the NURBS of degree three was discussed in [1] which provided a freeform design curve method based on the B-spline like formulation. This paper extends the work in [1] to describe the inter-polatory approach through the B-spline formulation. The curve method thus defined has full freedom of control at the control points and can be used in Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) or other relevant application fields. The scheme under discussion has different approach in its construction than [4] and provides a C-2 continuous solution to the methods of Boehm[2], Nielson[3], Barsky[4] and Foley[5]., |
