A radon survey was performed by using passive radon dosimeters in each office and lab of the three floors Energy Research Laboratory (ERL) building. The ERL building is fully air conditioned and thus the windows are always closed. The average radon concentration in the building was found to be 31 +/- 13 Bq.m-3. The average for the different floors varied between 21 and 34 Bq.m-3, while the average in KFUPM occupied and unoccupied houses was 14 +/- 1 Bq.m-3 and 29 +/- 7 Bq.m-3, respectively., |
